HEALIS (ENGLISH)

Our health agency is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to promote open systems and services to health information networks and enable health actors including patients, physicians, providers and payers to act independently and freely for the improvement of safety, efficiency and quality in health care.

Aim

The primary aim is to promote collaborative activities among health professionals and their patients supported by means of information communication technology (ICT) to exchange, share and manage information for a continuous, qualitative health care.

Secondary, it aims to improve the quality of health services by offering consultation services and training on the use of health information systems and services:

Clinical Decision Support Systems Clinical Care Management Systems Reports and monitoring for health services Statistical analysis of data for medical research Education and training in Information Communication Technology Effective and efficient use of Information Technology resources

Activities

HEALIS has a broad spectrum of activities to achieve its goal such as :

• Information and communication through social media channels (e.g. YouTube, Forums, Blogs)

• Publications on journals and conferences

• Promotion of open medical software

• Creation or contribution to common health data repositories

• Seeking funding and sponsorships compatible with its aims

• Participate or organize workshops for advanced topics in health information technology
